ISO 1133

ISO 1133 is an international standard that specifies test methods for determining the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of thermoplastic materials.

ISO 1133 provides guidelines on how to measure the flow properties of molten thermoplastic materials under specified temperature and load conditions. This test determines how easily a polymer flows when melted, which is critical for understanding processing behavior and material consistency.

Purpose of ISO 1133 Testing:
